Product Professional

Hi! I’m Victoria Wasyliw-Yap, but everyone calls me Vika (pronounced “Vee-kuh”). I’m a Lead Product Owner at National Grid on the Clean Transportation team. With this team I’m creating and managing charging programs to help prepare the grid for the growth of electric vehicle adoption. I am so thrilled to be able to reduce energy capacity needs and get money back to customers in my communities in Massachusetts and Upstate New York.
Outside of work I find joy in creative pursuits. Please take a look at my “projects” page to see what I’ve been working on, or my page with the Natick Art Association. I’m especially proud of my pysanky. I am not currently selling any work, but if you have a specific request, please reach out via the contact page.
I am known by many as lover of tiny things – miniature golf, dioramas, small dogs, and many others!
Before my transition to business, I was an Electrical Engineer who designed and experienced a broad range of consumer products. I’ve worked on 3D printers, internet infrastructure, children’s toys, headphones, and speakers.
Originally from Ithaca, New York, I am now happily based in the Boston area and not looking to leave. Outside of what I’ve shared above, my interests include art, history, museums, education, DEI, film, and all kinds of crafts.
I am also a proud Ukrainian American – Слава Україні!
If you are interested in financially supporting Ukrainians, please consider donating directly to the Ukrainian government via United24, or to the Johnson City, NY based St. John’s Humanitarian Fund which has sponsored multiple families of refugees.
